Tombamento is a word that comes from the informal verb "Tombar", and means when a black young person is shot dead by the police. Tombamento movement has name itself though in an act of resistance: if you will shot us dead, we will arise.
Here an artistic politic installation at Bahia Federal University, each cross showing a black woman dead by violence. Everyday 13 women are assassinated in Brazil. 66% of those, are black young women.
